Swift® Microwave Wart Treatment

What Is Swift® Microwave Therapy?

Swift® microwave therapy is an in-office treatment option for certain warts, including plantar and common warts. It uses controlled microwave energy to stimulate a localized immune response, helping your body recognize and clear the wart over time.

Swift® is considered an elective, self-pay treatment and is not typically covered by insurance.

How Effective Is Swift®?

Published clinical studies report wart clearance rates of approximately 79–83%, usually after an average of 2–3 treatments. By comparison, traditional freezing (cryotherapy) has reported clearance rates of approximately 39–49%, often helping explain why some warts persist despite prior treatment.

Individual results vary, and no treatment can guarantee complete clearance.
