Meet The Doctor

Mark Ash, MD, MS, FAAD

In his clinical practice, Dr. Ash emphasizes thoughtful evaluation, clear communication, and shared decision-making, with the goal of helping patients understand their condition and feel confident in their care.

Dr. Ash earned his medical doctorate at East Carolina University, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society in recognition of academic excellence and a compassionate approach to patient care. During his internal medicine internship at SUNY Upstate Medical University, he was honored as Intern of the Year. He completed his dermatology residency at the University of North Carolina, where he developed particular interest in complex inflammatory and autoimmune skin disease, procedural dermatology, and longitudinal patient care.

An educator at heart, Dr. Ash has been involved in teaching and mentoring Le Moyne physician assistant students and SUNY Upstate medical students and residents in recent years, as well as providing education and support for practicing physician assistants and nurse practitioners. He remains engaged in clinical scholarship and continuing medical education.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Ash enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.
